Walk on the Wild Side

By Alana Moskowitz

Our girl Alana is back from the New York Design Center to share some of her favorite interior and everyday fashion trends.

Who doesn’t covet the way a perfect animal print comes off as chic and sophisticated when applied in exactly the right dose? Whether it’s your interior or your outfit, there’s no question slyly executed skin, print or texture ups your game! There’s also no question that head-to-toe leopard (or wall to wall, for that matter) can send the wrong message. When it comes to showing off your taste for an animal print, a little editing becomes key. Maybe it’s cheetah booties or a fur shawl; perhaps a python clutch… whichever one calls you, or mix thereof, remember “pop,” “tease,” and “glamour” as you weave together your look. Zebra rugs, shagreen tables and other exotic animal motifs for the home are sure to bring style to most any space.

A vibrant print in small quantity will add excitement to everyday décor.

Take a note from these stylistas on the trend.

A little goes a long way, but this is certainly a trend that B&B can't live without.
What about you?!

By Lauren

This month Elle.com has a great gallery of designers' homes. Merging my two passions, fashion and interiors, made me so excited I had to share it with all of you. Perhaps it will give you some weekend inspiration for your own spaces.

Nanette Lepore enlisted Jonathan Adler for her Manhattan home
Peter Som's relaxing Greenwich Village living room
Ralph Lauren's dining room overlooking Manhattan

Dinner at Tiffany's

By Julie

Last week I was invited to join the fabulous Kelly Framel from The Glamourai for an incredibly chic evening in the Tiffany Suite at the famed St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan! I joined Kelly for an intimate evening of manicures, cocktails and an absolutely decadent dinner to celebrate the 2012 Tiffany eyewear collection.

A girl's dream!

Wedding Wednesdays - Sally Duvall

By Lauren

It's that time of the week again...Wedding Wednesday...and this week I must tell you about an amazing makeup artist that I found through New York Magazine's wedding lists (ps. they have been like a bible to me, I highly recommend them)! Sally Duvall did my makeup for my engagement party this past weekend and I not only fell in love with her demure yet sexy style of makeup, but also her calm spirit which is only a pleasure on your big day!

Sally has been listed as "one of the best wedding make-up artists" in New York Magazine for the past 7 year and as Allure Magazine's "Top Transformer." Her unique air-brushing technique leaves the skin flawless. Tobi and I were joking that I literally looked like an airbrushed, perfected version of myself!

Gorgeous, right?!

Now here is what Sally did for me...

Hallow's Eve

By Lauren
We have all had our fair share of Halloween costumes, from hand-made outfits as a kid (see below...my mom made the skirt and my brother is just trying to steal the show!) to bagged costumes from Ricky's during our college years. (Those pictures I will purposefully leave out)

But isn't it time we went the chic and more mature route for this night of dress-up. Julie and I still want to have fun and participate, but the "sexy nurse/sexy police officer/ sexy Disney character" is just not in our cards anymore! So here we put together a fun little inspiration board that we could literally re-create with the things in our closet and around our home.

Julie Would Wear:
1. Aurora Lopez Mejia Ignot Pendant available at Barney's
2. Forever21 Pointelle Beret
3. Opening Ceremony Camo Dress
4. Michael by Michael Kors Woodley Combat Boot
5. West Elm Ellery Chair

Lauren Would Wear:
1. Horchow Grand Noir Chandelier
2. Lanvin Embroidered and Leather Gloves
3. Paperself Adhesive Butterfly Eyelashes from Sephora
4. TopShop Velvet Dress
5. Charlotte Russe Witch Headband
6. Miu Miu Velvet Bow Shoe

What are you wearing this Halloween?

Ombre and Lace

By Julie

It was certainly a celebratory weekend for us here at B&B! Saturday night was Lauren's engagement party and I can tell you that it was a successful evening because our feet are officially still throbbing... so much love, happiness and dancing in that room. It was truly a special night with friends and family. I wanted to share a few pics of what I wore to the party.

Marena y Sol: Kim and Kris Take Dubai!

By Julie

We were first introduced to Marena y Sol and the exotic designer Miriam Rahali when our nearest and dearest- Tobi!- brought us back some beautifully embellished tunics and cover ups last summer from her trip to Europe! Such a treat.

Miriam designs her collections to be uniquely versatile. The tunics and caftans can be thrown over swimwear for show-stopping poolside glamour and can easily transition to cocktail-chic attire by simply adding underlining and pairing with heels.

Assuming you're as 'Kardashian Krazy' as Lauren and I, we had to share all the awesome details of Kim and Kris rocking Miriam's designs on their recent trip to Dubai!

Kim and Kris took the city by storm in their head-turning bejeweled caftans! Both of the dresses are so colorful and bold, I can't pick my favorite. You?

Reflecting noble codes of luxury and capturing shining moments of their Arabian adventure, their tunic and caftan choices evoke the spirit and harmony of Dubai.

Kim and Kris were so captivated by the collection that they requested several more pieces from the line to bring home for Kourtney and Khloe. What a good sister and Mom! Can't you just see the girls donning these poolside?

Kim with the gorgeous designer, Miriam Rahali

The Marena y Sol dresses will be featured on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' so keep a look out this season... I can't wait to be transported to the land of mystery, opulence and escape through Kim and Kris's exotic trip and glamorous fashion choices.

Who's with me?!

Obsessed- Alexander Wang Constance Bootie

By Julie

I pretty much have a sick obsession with scouring my favorite online boutiques and adding any and all items to my 'lust-list'. It's literally a nightly ritual and keeps me up waaaay past my bedtime. Anyway, I just added this little baby to my bag!

At 70% off these are kinda hard to beat, right?! I die for a good bootie and this chunky heel is kind of hard to pass up.

Should I do it?? Tomorrow's pay day after all!
