I spent this past holiday weekend in San Francisco visiting with family, meeting my new baby niece and exploring the city. San Francisco is undoubtedly one of my favorite cities to visit- each neighborhood is so uniquely distinct, there are adorable boutiques and great shopping, endless fresh seafood and wines, and unbelievably amazing views of the ocean and hills wherever you go.

| A house favorite-- Genovese Basil and Almond Pesto Handkerchief Pasta from Farina |

| Quality time with my sweet baby niece :) |
 |
| Classic SF cable cars and the Transamerica Pyramid |
 |
| My absolute favorite Coconut Creme Pie from Tartine Bakery- 'one bite' is not enough. |

It's hard to believe I do more than just eat while on vacation, but I couldn't not share some of my favorite indulgences from the weekend. Have you guys tried any of these spots on your adventures out West (secretly wish I could move to Cali!)??

I grew up right outside of San Francisco and visit my brother there almost every year. I end up eating mostly Asian cuisine, especially in Chinatown. I also like Louis' in outer Richmond, it's a place you can take people who aren't into fine dining and still enjoy a spectacular view. I still miss my old home, thanks for these photos. Sweet memories!
